Beginnings

In the past few years, God has been calling people all over the world into more intimacy with him and directing them in paths of healing. He has been removing blocks to experiencing the power of his love and the fullness of life he intends for his people. Many believe that there is a sweep of the Spirit through the world and that an army is being formed that can stand strong in the face of what is to come and who will boldly live in Christ and bring others to him.

ChangePoint's leaders and volunteers, who come from over 15 denominations and churches began to individually recognize God's call to wholeness and in the past ten years, God has miraculously brought together in one unit "wounded healers" who have a calling and heart to minister healing and freedom through teaching, mentoring and prayer counseling.

The seeds were planted for the ministry that is now ChangePoint at an area church, As people began to come seeking spiritual change and recovery, resources and training opened up, and ministry teams were formed.

Leaders in the prayer ministry began to recognize the call of God on their lives for full-time work in the area of healing and transformation. In September 2002, a separate interdenominational organization, ChangePoint, was launched.

We are so grateful to God for the fruit has been evidenced through transformed lives. We are blessed to see the many people who having found freedom, compassionately reach out to others....and the stream of those seeking healing continues to flow into ChangePoint.
